You Are Indestructible!
The God of All Comfort Has Promised to Protect You
There are many chapters, events, seasons, and stories in each of our lives. Each season can be compared to a novel with different chapters—some flow smoothly into the next, while others feel abrupt, heavy, or filled with suspense, leaving you wondering what comes next.
But in the midst of all life’s changes, one thing remains solid, stable, firm, and unwavering: the unconditional love of Father God.
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
God has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you—no matter what.
God is not looking for reasons to discard you like a piece of paper. You are far more valuable than that. You are made in the image and likeness of God.
How many of you would disown your children over a small mistake? Some might, but most would not—and neither will God. He is your heavenly Father, and He has promised to stay with you.
Isaiah 43:2 is another love letter from the Father to His children. Let’s personalize it until it sinks deeply into our conscious and subconscious minds.
Personal Meditation on Isaiah 43:2
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…”
God says that when I walk through the waters, He is with me.
It is Jesus and me walking on the water together.
I am not alone.
I will not sink.
I will not perish.
I cannot be destroyed.
I am in Christ, and Christ is in me.
In Him I live, in Him I move, and in Him I have my being.
My entire life is hidden in God.
I am surrounded by His unfailing love.
I am shielded and protected under the shadow of the Almighty.
God is real to me—more real than the invisible air I breathe.
His presence surrounds me.
I have more faith in God and His presence than in anything else.
I am a spirit being, made in the image and likeness of God.
God is Spirit; therefore, I am spirit.
I have a soul, and I live in this body.
I am who God says I am.
I have what God says I have.
I walk in the grace and favor of God over my life and my family.
“When thou walkest through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee…”
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob walks with me.
Just as He walked with Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground, He walks beside me now.
He makes a way where there seems to be no way.
The rivers will never overflow me because God is with me.
I am safe and protected in His loving grace.
“When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned…”
Lord, You are a shield around me—my glory and the lifter of my head.
You are magnificent and all-powerful.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your unfailing love.
I receive Your grace and mercy in a fresh way right now.
I believe and know that when I walk through the fire, I will not be burned.
You are the same God who protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
You proved that You keep Your children safe.
I receive divine immunity from every dangerous situation and circumstance, in Jesus’ name.
“Neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects me and my family.
No evil will befall us.
No plague, disaster, or destruction will come near our dwelling place.
Jesus, You are the fourth man in every fire.
Therefore, the flame will not kindle upon me.
I walk in divine immunity in Jesus’ name.
Thank You, Lord, for giving Your angels charge over me and my family—to watch over us, protect us, defend us, and keep us safe.
Important Note to Readers
God often uses parables, imagery, and symbolic language in Scripture. In Isaiah 43:2, the references to water, rivers, and fire carry spiritual meaning:
Walking on water symbolizes walking by faith, walking in the supernatural, and walking with Jesus.
Waters and rivers can represent storms, trials, or overwhelming circumstances.
Fire can represent intense pressure, hardship, or spiritual testing.
These verses are not instructing anyone to step off a balcony into water, walk into the ocean, or enter burning buildings. There are natural laws and spiritual laws. No one should deliberately put their life in danger.
Walking in wisdom and caution is always right.
This does not contradict the truth that God is able to save, protect, and deliver in every situation.
